I am a photographer living and working in Wilton Manors, Florida. My passion for photography was ignited during my senior year of high school when I acquired a plastic $3.98 Diana camera. I got my professional start in photography working as a darkroom technician for various New York-based photographers, including W. Eugene Smith, notable for his WW II photography and documentation of the city of Pittsburgh. During my free time I roamed the city photographing the people and places I came to know and love.

Some of my early street portraits can be found at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and private collections in NYC. My more recent work is in several Florida collections. I have received awards for my photographs in area art shows such as the Broward Art Guild, Arts United Art Explosion, and National League of American Pen Women.

Technically, photography-whether it’s film or digital-is always about the light. My job is to capture that light, mix in some joy, add a dash of me, and let the viewer see what I see.
